Helitherapy is learning from nature instead of taking from nature
Thanks to more than 10 years of research and innovation, Mademoiselle Agathe created L'Hélicitherapy. Helitherapy comes from the term “helix”, the scientific name for the snail and the Greek “therapeía” for care: an etymology therefore simple to understand, developed for more than 8 years.
Mademoiselle Agathe cosmetics were born in 2013 following the meeting during a small organic fair in Lyon of Fabrice Pierron, specialist in commercial development (round glasses), and Patrice Lambert Héliciculteur (straw hat). This meeting will change the during their lives, because Patrice the helicopter farmer, had been developing a method of gently harvesting snail slime for several years, after realizing the benefits of the mucus on his hands or those of his seasonal workers. From this research, he was able to discover the most appropriate time to collect the mucus and above all with the gentlest technique possible for the well-being of the animal, that is to say by taking each snail individually by hand. to gently stimulate it. Fabrice set out to find a laboratory that would be ready to test formulations with specifications for the highest concentration of snail mucus in the products. Following these first tests, Mademoiselle Agathe was born, and this is what is incredible about entrepreneurship since two bearded fifty-year-olds can give birth to a magnificent young girl named Mademoiselle Agathe.
