Recycle your containers
It seems today that most consumers are ready to reduce their environmental impact, and the choice of recycling has become essential. When eco-designing our containers, we sought to take into account all stages of the life cycle of our containers, from the extraction of raw materials to their end-of-life processing, including manufacturing, transport, logistics and use.

We suggest that you keep your package in order to return 5 containers* or more to us. We will take care of upgrading them in a circular and respectful economy. How to do ?

Customer collection
We first suggest that you store your used containers so that you can accumulate at least 5 of them. Indeed, the cost of shipping being an important factor in this recycling program, we cannot offer a return for less than 5 containers ( Airless, tube, etc). Then you take a photo of your containers and you send it to us on this email address: recycling@mademoiselle-agathe.com You provide your contact details so that we can send you a prepaid colissimo label to print directly from your home. So the return is free, but it is you who will have done the most important thing.

Identification, sorting and shredding
When we receive your packages, we collect them to ship them to our partner. You must have collected the equivalent of a full pallet to be able to ship it. It is then a question of sorting the plastics by category (the identification step has already been done upstream and it is for this reason that we cannot introduce other containers than ours) The containers are then crushed in large chips to be sent to the recycling plant and thus further reduce the volume.

Recycling and granulation
The chips are then washed to remove all impurities from the first use. Once clean, you have to go through the granulation phase. The granulation will make it possible to find a reusable raw material for a new industrial use. Bales of pellets are then shipped to different sites depending on supply and demand.

Uses (wadding, synthetic, insulation)
We have been able to identify several manufacturers who use these granules to make Synthetic Wadding in the textile industry or in the insulation of homes. But other uses are possible, such as upgrading it as a children's play area slab, or even as a car part. The important thing is that we have the assurance that your returned containers will indeed be recycled in a circular and respectful economy. We count on you !

Ecodesign of our containers
We retrace here the main steps that led us to make decisions on the material of our containers (plastic, glass, aluminum), the colors or types of inks used, the secondary packaging used and many other elements that allowed us to finalize choices that seem to us to be the most judicious to date in the state of our knowledge.
