For 3 days, for each sale, we donate €1 in the form of donations to the Fondation des Hôpitaux de France in order to help them promote their action "Let's take care of our caregivers". The opportunity to contribute to their well-being at work through great actions that we will introduce you to below.
The Hospital Foundation is launching this year the call for projects "Let's take care of those who care" in order to set up a national program to support caregivers and improve their quality of life at work. The purpose of this project would allow the creation and improvement of spaces designed as "Caregivers' houses" dedicated to their well-being by providing them with places to recharge their batteries, take care of them, to take better care of them. of the patients they support.

Family support and reunification
Because the presence of loved ones in the hospital reassures and brings great relief to patients, whatever their age. The Foundation makes every effort to create reception areas intended to facilitate the presence of families in the hospital. Parents' houses, parent-child rooms, family spaces, etc. More than 1,400 projects subsidized since 1989.
Business development
To change the minds of hospitalized people, to get rid of boredom and break isolation, the hospital teams organize many activities, both inside the departments (cooking workshops, painting, singing, IT, etc.) outside (outings thanks to equipped minibuses, stays at the sea and in the mountains). The fight against pain
Because suffering is not inevitable, the Foundation finances equipment to relieve pain on a daily basis. In pediatric wards, many self-controlled analgesia pumps have been subsidized by the Foundation. And within the geriatric departments, the Foundation has enabled the acquisition of shower trolleys, ceiling rails, positioning cushions or anti-decubitus cushions. Over 1,650 projects have been funded since 1989.
The care of adolescents in distress
The Foundation also participates in improving the daily life of hospitalized teenagers by supporting specific space projects in collaboration with hospitals. It accompanies and supports the development and creation of centers for adolescents, multi-disciplinary structures for reception and prevention, care and follow-up, teaching and research, throughout France. Over 114 projects subsidized since 1989, including 67 adolescent centers supported in 13 regions.
The transition from teenagers to young adults
The transition from pediatrics to an adult medical service is an ordeal for a hospitalized teenager, a period during which he must be accompanied in order to be able to understand his future adult life. The Foundation supports projects promoting this transition from childhood to adulthood. They will make it possible to improve the living, care and reception conditions of 15-25 year olds thanks to the development of new care practices adapted to their needs. 30 projects subsidized since 1989.
The respite of loved ones
Respite allows caregivers to benefit from a one-off, scheduled or emergency break, in a specialized establishment or at home, when the situation requires it. The Foundation supports and finances many projects allowing moments of respite between carers and their sick relatives.
