To make a so-called cold saponification soap, a fat is used to which soda is added. A chemical reaction takes place. Industrial soaps heat this mixture to 120°, which speeds up the chemical process. After which the glycerin is extracted (using large quantities of water) and only the soap remains, a hard body ready for sale.
When we want to opt for natural, organic, we use a soap which has been cold saponified, that is to say that we have given time to the chemical reaction to take place on its own, naturally, in time. This transformation is what is called in chemistry a "total reaction", which means that it lasts until the sodium hydroxide runs out. For a cold saponified soap to be used, it must no longer contain any trace of soda. It is the presence of a surplus of oil which guarantees that all the soda has been used. In addition, it is then necessary to allow time for the soap to harden (allow 1 month for a loaf of 100 grams).

The 6 fabulous actions of snail slime
MOISTURIZING ACTION
About 80% of skin is made up of elastin and collagen. These proteins, naturally present in snail slime, provide suppleness and elasticity to the skin.
ANTI-AGING ACTION
Allantoin and the RIF1 protein act on the aging process as well as cell renewal.
PURIFYING ACTION
Antimicrobial peptides, actin, and cytokeratins serve as a fulcrum for the immune system and limit the proliferation of bacteria on the skin.
HEALING ACTION
Allantoin and hemocyanin are involved in the wound healing process and promote tissue repair.
ANTIOXIDANT ACTION
Vitamins and serine proteases reduce inflammation and neutralize the action of free radicals.
EXFOLIATING ACTION
Glycolic acid restores radiance to the complexion by eliminating dead skin and helps reduce skin spots.
