From Wool to Your Hair

Since there are no more shampoos with real keratin, we made one!

After more than 2 years of research and development, we have succeeded in creating a pure keratin extract from sheep's wool!

And we'll explain why it's better...

Why should you change your shampoo?

1

To enjoy a treasure of nature for your hair

Wool keratin contains amino acids very similar to those found in human hair, making it an ideal ally for repairing and strengthening it. Rich in cysteine, it stimulates growth, smooths the hair cuticle, reduces porosity, and preserves color. Its scientifically proven effectiveness surpasses that of plant-based alternatives in every way.

2

To support French agriculture

We have wonderful products grown or raised on our farms in France. So is it reasonable to use plant-based keratin (phytokeratin) produced from Brazilian soybeans, when one of the best ingredients for shampoos is wool keratin, produced here by farmers who raise their sheep in meadows that preserve our biodiversity?

3

To promote animal welfare

This helps to support animal-friendly farming practices by providing a healthy and safe environment for animals, while also better remunerating farmers committed to cyclical agriculture that preserves our soils.

4

To defend our lands

We value a local, efficient, and biodegradable resource that is often burned or discarded, instead of importing plant-based ingredients from the other side of the world. This choice strengthens the local economy of our countryside. It also encourages the development of a new sustainable sector in the heart of our lands.

Why is it better for your hair?

Wool Keratin VS Phytokeratin!

Today, almost all so-called "keratin" shampoos actually use plant keratin (Phytokératine), derived from plants such as wheat or soy, often imported from Brazil.

However, plant keratin… it doesn’t exist!

It's a marketing invention: phytokeratin does not have the same structure as our hair at all, and its effectiveness is more than limited.

Conversely, wool keratin is exactly the same keratin as that in our hair. It allows:

  • Regenerate hair fiber
  • Repair damaged hair
  • Protect from pollution
  • Preserving colored hair

Only real keratin, the one of animal origin, can penetrate deep into the scales of damaged hair to repair it.

A story in 5 stages...

1 – A LOSS OF COMMON SENSE

The day we were told it was no longer possible to use real keratin in our shampoos, we understood that we had to put the church back in the center of the village. How did we end up excluding a natural, effective, biodegradable ingredient that is perfectly suited to our hair from our cosmetics?

2 – TO SATISFY AN IDEOLOGY THAT IS OUT OF GROUND

The only reason for this disappearance: keratin comes from the animal kingdom. And today, organic cosmetics also want to declare themselves vegan. However, it seems difficult to claim the term vegan for an organic cosmetic when the majority of the plant ingredients that compose it grew on soil that was fertilized with animal waste such as manure, slurry, or compost, since this is the very principle of organic farming.

3 – NO LIVESTOCK, NO AGRICULTURE

Putting all ingredients of animal origin on the same footing, as the term VEGAN does in cosmetics, is not promoting animal welfare or even our environment, and above all it is not understanding the cyclical model of agriculture which is based on a balance between plant and animal. To forget this is to lose all coherence. Especially when our natural care products are supposed to preserve our environmental impact.

4 – MEETING WITH TITOUAN

It was this reflection that led us to Titouan, a young sheep breeder from Sarthe. Together, we decided to give new value to the wool from his flock: transforming this neglected by-product into a precious ingredient for your hair. It's also a way to remind the general public of the essential role of livestock farming in a vibrant agriculture...

5 – ARE WE ON THE WAY WITH HISTORY?

Every year, tons of wool are thrown away or burned. A senseless waste, even though it's a true treasure for our hair. We reject this absurdity. But to change things, we need you. Because together, we can restore the meaning of organic cosmetics.

By supporting this project, you have made it possible to bring this new hair care range to life.

Thanks to you, these key steps will be able to take shape:

Our R&D into transforming wool into keratin
For the past 2 years, we have been exploring the best way to transform wool into 97% pure keratin and make it soluble so that it is fully bioavailable for your hair.

Formulations and regulatory files
Your pre-orders will help finance the numerous formulation and stability tests, as well as the creation of the regulatory files (DIP) essential for marketing each product.

Dermatological and usage tests
To guarantee the effectiveness and tolerance of our products, clinical tests under dermatological supervision are currently underway.
