Back to basics
Today, the majority of so-called "keratin" hair care products actually use plant proteins, often derived from wheat or soy.
These alternatives, sometimes called "phytokeratin," do not faithfully replicate the structure of the keratin naturally present in hair.
However, our hair is made up of nearly 95% keratin.
Sheep's wool shares this same protein structure.
It is this similarity that led us to make a different choice: to use wool keratin, which is naturally biomimetic.

Understanding your hair to better care for it
Hair care starts with understanding its structure. The hair fiber is composed of three layers (cuticle, cortex, medulla), but it's primarily its internal composition that makes all the difference.
At the heart of the hair: keratin. This protein, rich in sulfur-containing amino acids, particularly cysteine, forms "bridges" (disulfide bonds) that provide strength, elasticity, and shine. When these bonds are altered by aggressions (heat, UV, coloring, etc.), the hair becomes fragile, dry, and brittle.
To restore the hair fiber, it's essential to provide active ingredients capable of mimicking this natural structure. Biomimetic wool keratin has a unique affinity with hair: it helps to deeply repair, strengthen, and smooth.
