No livestock, no agriculture: That's what no one dares to say!
Since 2013, our foundational active ingredient, exceptionally effective at deeply regenerating the skin, has been snail slime harvested exclusively by hand—proven by 7 scientific studies, concentrated at its maximum level in each formula. Today, we go further with French wool keratin. Animal ingredients that are effective, ethical, and sourced from French farms.
The cosmetic industry is abandoning them to follow a trend, our commitment is to bring common sense back into our cosmetics.

French agriculture needs to be defended.
Our fight is to promote those who farm in France, because behind every Mademoiselle Agathe treatment, there is a farmer, a farm, a region.
Women and men who nourish the soil, maintain pastures, and preserve biodiversity. They are the ones who make organic farming possible — and it is their work, that of a whole new generation committed to maintaining our agricultural sovereignty, that we want to value, defend, and protect.
Help us support them!
Without livestock, soils become depleted
Manure naturally fertilizes, animals maintain pastures, and livestock rotations preserve soil structure. "Organic without animals" is an agronomic contradiction—and a marketing lie.
Supporting our farmers means supporting agriculture
Every snail slime treatment supports Patrice and his snail farm in Drôme-Ardèche. Every wool keratin shampoo you buy supports Titouan and his sheep in Sarthe. From the farm to your bathroom.
Reintroducing animal assets makes sense
Snail mucin, wool keratin, honey, beeswax—used for 2,500 years, scientifically proven, humanely harvested. These are not ingredients of the past. These are the best ingredients available.
Discarded wool is a senseless waste
Every year, tons of French wool are burned or thrown away due to a lack of outlets. Meanwhile, the cosmetics industry imports "vegetable keratin" from Brazilian soy grown in deforested areas, and calls it "organic".
Snail slime. 540 million years of evolution at your service.
Before wool keratin, before agricultural combat, there is the snail. It was the snail that started it all. It remains at the heart of every formula. And it is its mucus, hand-harvested by Patrice in Drôme, that makes the difference between an ordinary treatment and a truly regenerating treatment.
What is Helicitherapy?
Helicitherapy is snail-based skin care. A concept registered by Mademoiselle Agathe, which combines certified organic snail mucin extract with plants sourced from the heart of the Pays de la Loire region. It is the osmosis of animal and plant that gives our treatments their full effectiveness.
The proteins predominantly present in our mucus are Hemocyanin, Actin, and Tubulin. They activate cellular respiration and deep regeneration, and they play a key role in the healing of skin cells, among other things.

100% manual harvesting — the only way to preserve proteins.
We harvest the mucus after spawning — the richest in protein. Each snail is picked up one by one, when it is ready. No centrifuge, no electric shock. Because animal stress degrades the quality of the mucus. And because it is the only animal-friendly approach.
The voices we're rolling out on the red carpet.
We fully support the most beautiful agriculture in the world, French agriculture, and those who make it thrive every day, often behind the scenes, with courage, patience, and commitment.
Because agriculture is not just a sector of activity: it feeds us, sustains our territories, and contributes to our food sovereignty. And it produces the natural ingredients in our cosmetics.
Supporting farmers and breeders means defending essential expertise, recognizing the value of their work, and remembering that there is no sustainable future without those who cultivate, raise, and pass on their knowledge.

"Respect for life is obvious. Animal, plant, human: everything is connected, everything is balance."
Here's how the "organic vegan" cosmetic industry replaced good ingredients with bad ones—and called it progress.
1 - Animal keratin disappears from shampoos
The only reason: it is of animal origin. Not because it's less effective—it's more so. Not because it's cruel—shearing is essential for the sheep's well-being. Only to satisfy a vegan ideology in organic cosmetics.
2 - It is replaced by "phytokeratin"
Often derived from Brazilian soy, grown in deforested areas, with GMO plans. Poorly compatible with human hair — no disulfide bonds, limited structural affinity. It bears the name "keratin" without having its properties.
3 - And everyone calls that "organic vegan"
While all the plants used in these same cosmetics grew on soil amended with manure or animal slurry. Without livestock farming, there is no living soil—and therefore no true organic farming. It makes no sense.
Our answer: put the church back in the center of the village.
When we were told that it wouldn't be possible to use real keratin in our shampoos, we decided not to obey. We looked for a breeder. We found Titouan. And we created the only COSMOS certified organic hair care range with real French wool keratin.
Local, the keratin derived from organic sheep's wool raised in Sarthe is an agricultural co-product, valorized instead of being discarded.
Transformed into pure keratin — a molecular structure compatible with human hair.
Studies have scientifically proven that animal keratin is in all respects superior to plant-based alternatives.
Animal Keratin vs. Phyto-keratin: The Comparison.
- Amino acid structure identical to hair
- Native disulfide bonds — deep repair
- Valued local co-product — short supply chain
- COSMOS certified — traceable organic sector
- Organic sheep's wool — Sarthe, France
- Incompatible structure with human hair
- Few disulfide bonds - limited penetration
- Long-distance transport - high carbon footprint
- Potential GMO plan not certifiable organic
- Often Brazilian soy from deforestation
Agriculture is a harmonious circle of life: plants nourish humans and animals, humans look after the land and living things, and animals, in turn, nourish humans with their resources and enrich the soil that will give rise to tomorrow's crops.

Patrice Lambert
SNAIL FARMER - PARTNER SINCE 2013
Patrice raises "Gros gris" snails organically on a bed of radishes, clover, and bay laurel between Drôme and Ardèche. The mucus is harvested entirely by hand — each snail taken one by one, when it is ready. Without stress, without centrifuging, without electric shock. These breeding snails live up to 4 to 5 years on the farm, compared to 1 to 2 years in the wild.

Titouan Goenvec
ORGANIC SHEEP FARMER · NEW PARTNER
Titouan raises 300 organic suckler ewes in a mixed crop and livestock system in the Sarthe region of France. The wool from his sheep—previously of little value, sometimes even discarded—now becomes the keratin in our hair care range. Shearing is essential for the well-being of the sheep: it prevents parasites, reduces the risk of overheating, and promotes quality wool. A noble agricultural co-product, finally used to its full potential.

Wool keratin for your hair.
Two animal ingredients, two areas of expertise, one philosophy: to use the best that nature and French farming have to offer. Our facial care products have been our core business for 12 years. Our hair care range is our most recent activist act. All COSMOS Organic certified. All made in France.
Efficiency is not proclaimed. It is proven!
We have carried out 7 scientific studies with public institutions such as the National Museum of Natural History in Paris, and the universities of Rouen, Nantes, and Geneva. These studies have identified more than one hundred proteins that act synergistically on the skin.

Your skin deserves better than compromises. So does French agriculture!
After 12 years of snail slime skincare, we are convinced of one thing: there is no natural cosmetic without farming, no living ingredients without terroir, no meadows and hedges without the men and women who keep our farms alive. Before seeking active ingredients from the other side of the world, we choose to highlight the exceptional products of French agriculture.
At Mademoiselle Agathe, our skincare products are a fusion of animal and plant — a natural, proven, and certified organic synergy. Effective for your skin. Respectful of all living things.
Long live French agriculture.
