At Mademoiselle Agathe, we have always been committed to offering cosmetic products that combine effectiveness and respect for nature. It is with this in mind that we recently modified our containers, a carefully considered choice to meet the growing requirements of our organic certification and our environmental commitment. A more responsible approach
Our previous transparent airless bottles were already 100% recyclable, but they were not made from recycled plastic. However, in a constant desire for improvement, we wanted to go further by further reducing our ecological footprint. Our organic certification encourages us to adopt increasingly environmentally friendly practices, and the use of recycled plastic was an obvious choice.
Identical bottles, but more virtuous
We have therefore made the decision to keep exactly the same type of airless bottle, thus guaranteeing optimal conservation of our formulas, but now manufacturing it from plastic composed of 99% recycled material. This choice allows us to give a second life to the materials already used, thus reducing the consumption of virgin resources and plastic waste. A small percentage of virgin material is nevertheless still necessary to guarantee the robustness and safety of the bottle.
An aesthetic change, but not a qualitative one
One of the compromises associated with this evolution is the abandonment of transparent plastic. Unfortunately, with this new recycled material, it is no longer possible to produce translucent bottles. Our containers therefore adopt a slightly different appearance, but their quality and effectiveness remain unchanged. We have subjected these new bottles to several dozen rigorous tests to guarantee the total absence of transfer of plastic to the product, thus ensuring the same safety and purity as previous versions.
